23 posts · Joined 2012. #1 · Aug 11, 2012. Hey all. Got a '55 plate Zetec 2.0 TDCI 115 on 170k miles. I bought the car in February this year knowing the cruise control didn't work. I have since tried fitting a new brake switch with no luck. The icon for cruise control lights up with the ignition and then disappears when I turn the engine on
