The EGR valve in your Toyota is fitted within the exhaust system and allows some of the gases produced during the combustion process to be re-burnt within the combustion chamber for a second and more effective time. This occurs when the correct engine operating conditions are met and, in turn, serves to reduce harmful emissions. P0402 - EGR flow excessive P2479 - EGR temp sensor 1 - high tempature P0069 - Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) barometric pressure not plausible P068A - Engine controls ignition relay de-energised too early. So for the first 3 I plan to give the EGR valve, MAP sensor and throttle body a clean. The last one I have no idea.
l have fitted a egr blanking plate (£4 on ebay) to my Astra Mk4 W reg 1600cc and car runs prefect now and l have no ECU warning light coming on, to achieve this remove the egr valve and fit your blanking plate (not home made flimsy tin one) now postion the egr valve still connected to elecs nearby and secure, valve will still operate unhindered ok, or you can fit the blank plate and then put

Replace Intercooler pipe - elbow clip. Going to attempt to replace the intercooler pipe on my 2011 Insignia over the weekend. Looked at some videos at it seems fairly straight forward. However to preempt the job I would like some advise on how to reattach the bottom clip on the elbow.
